Power BI Developer
Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal Power BI Developer will be responsible for developing and preparing critical information and data visualizations for executive-level reporting at a federal agency. As the sole person on this one-person team, this role is for an independent self-starter who enjoys planning and executing his/her work from beginning to end, interacting with the customer directly, and having direct control and sole influence over the results. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed; meet the education and work experience required; and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs. Essential Job Functions:
Develop and prepare Power BI reports Create workflows, BI integration, reporting Provide O&M support on existing solutions, applications, workflows, and forms Process data to include manual transformations where necessary Update and maintain related documentation (e.g., user guides, FAQ, site improvement documentation) Elicit requirements and propose improvements; trace and track requirements to completion Serve as primary translator of business and functional needs into technical solutions Conduct testing as needed to ensure that the solution meets the requirements Revise and update reports as requested with quick turnaround Provide status reports/updates to the customer Participate in project planning activities including defining and organizing tasks, roles and responsibilities, and prioritization of deliverables Independently manage workload and priorities Troubleshoot and provide customer support Delight the customer Minimum Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology Management, Computer Science or the equivalent 8
years of experience supporting Power BI, SQL, and strong relational database skills Experience with Qlik, Tableau, and similar BI packages is desired Having functional experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and TSQL is desired Must have ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance Hands-on experience conducting needs analysis, project planning, development activities, and client interaction Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent Power BI skills Ability to plan and implement Agile and project processes Ability to manage stakeholders Excellent written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills Strong customer focus Others:
Possess excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and be self-motivated Proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously Excellent attention to detail As per the Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate Covid Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors and regulations as detailed by www.saferfederalworkforce.gov , it is recommended that all Harmonia employees be vaccinated against Covid-19, unless approved for an exemption/ accommodation on the basis of a sincerely held religious belief or medical circumstance.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
